Punch stands as one of the oldest continuously produced cigar brands in the world, founded in 1840 in Havana by a German businessman known as Stockmann and named after Mr. Punch of the iconic Punch and Judy puppet shows to appeal to British cigar smokers. The brand was transformed into an internationally recognised premium marca by Manuel López Fernández from 1884, whose name still appears on every Cuban Punch cigar band and box more than 140 years later. Known for its bold, full-flavoured character with notes of earth, leather, cedar, nuts, coffee, and pepper, Punch cigars are crafted from premium Vuelta Abajo tobacco and produced at the La Corona factory in Havana.
